Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY SUMMARY

Due to the digital nature of our products and the immediate access granted upon purchase, all sales are generally final. We offer a 7-day technical issue window for documented access problems. Please read the full policy below for details.

1. General Policy

The Open Window Academy LLC / The Open Window Academy ("Company") provides digital products and services that are delivered electronically and accessible immediately upon purchase. Because of the instant-access nature of digital products, all sales are considered final once your membership has been activated and access to the Platform's products has been granted.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you are purchasing access to digital products and services, and that you understand and accept this refund policy.

2. 7-Day Technical Issue Window

If you experience documented technical issues that completely prevent you from accessing the Platform or its products, you may request a refund within 7 calendar days of your initial purchase. To qualify:

  • You must contact our support team within 7 days of your purchase date.
  • You must provide documentation of the technical issue (screenshots, error messages, etc.).
  • Our support team must be unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe.
  • The issue must be on our end (server-side), not related to your device, internet connection, or browser compatibility.

If the above conditions are met, the Company may, at its sole discretion, issue a full or partial refund.

3. Setup Fee Refunds

The one-time setup fee is non-refundable once your account has been created and access to the Platform has been granted. For installment plans where the setup fee is split across multiple payments:

  • If you cancel during the installment period, any remaining installments will not be charged.
  • Installments already paid are non-refundable.
  • Cancellation of installment payments before the setup fee is fully paid will result in loss of access to the Platform.

4. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting our support team. Upon cancellation:

  • Your access to the Platform will continue until the end of your current billing period.
  • No further charges will be made after the current billing period ends.
  • No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.
  • No pro-rata refunds will be issued for unused time within a billing period.
  • Your referral network and commission history will be preserved but you will no longer earn commissions after your membership expires.

5. Cryptocurrency Payments

IMPORTANT: Cryptocurrency payments are non-refundable under all circumstances.

Due to the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions and the volatility of cryptocurrency values, the Company cannot process refunds for payments made in cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH, XLM, HBAR, or any other cryptocurrency). By choosing to pay with cryptocurrency, you acknowledge and accept this limitation.

6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you have a concern about a charge, we strongly encourage you to contact our support team first. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company without first contacting us may result in:

  • Immediate and permanent termination of your account.
  • Forfeiture of all unpaid commissions and bonuses.
  • Loss of access to all products and services.
  • Removal from the Affiliate Program and referral network.
  • Potential collection action for amounts owed, including chargeback fees.
  • Reporting to fraud prevention databases.

The Company will vigorously contest all unjustified chargebacks and reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies.

7. Case-by-Case Discretion

The Company reserves the right to issue refunds on a case-by-case basis at its sole discretion, even outside the 7-day technical issue window. Factors that may be considered include:

  • The nature and severity of the issue.
  • Whether the Member has previously requested refunds.
  • The amount of time elapsed since purchase.
  • Whether the Member has accessed or used the Platform's products.
  • Any applicable consumer protection laws in the Member's jurisdiction.

Any discretionary refund does not establish a precedent or obligation for future refund requests.

8. Commission Clawbacks

If a refund is issued for a transaction on which commissions were paid to an Affiliate, the Company reserves the right to deduct the corresponding commission amount from the Affiliate's future commission payments. This applies to both direct referral commissions and any team-based bonuses affected by the refunded transaction.
